On this special Women’s Day, I want to share a deeply personal journey—one that has shaped me, challenged me, and ultimately empowered me. Ten years ago, I founded Prarvi Hair Business with a dream, and today, I stand proud, having successfully launched my brand at IBS, building a thriving B2B e-commerce business.

IBS is more than just an international platform for the beauty industry; it is a space where innovation, passion, and resilience come together. Through this experience, I have not only established my presence in the USA as a woman entrepreneur but also gained invaluable expertise across business management, science, teaching, and technology. In many ways, this journey has been my very own in-house MBA, teaching me the full cycle of running a business—from procurement to marketing to delivery.

One of the most profound learnings has been the power of connections—meeting and working with incredible African American women who gracefully balance business and family with minimal support. Their resilience is inspiring, and their success is a testament to the strength that women carry within them.

But behind every journey, there are pillars of support. I am deeply grateful to my family and friends, whose unwavering belief in me has been my backbone. A special thanks to Vivek, who has stood by me at every step, empowering me to embrace my strength and celebrate my achievements.

Above all, my biggest inspiration has been my mother—a woman who, in the face of a traditional family environment, single-handedly ran an entire business chain with sheer determination and grace. She taught me that a woman is the pivot of life’s journey, holding together dreams, businesses, and families with unshakable resolve.
