please read before jumping to conclusions. this isn't a "are you a good person or a bad person". this is just a reminder that we are all capable of self reflection and accountability. im not speaking on the fact this was meant to happen as it was part of God's Plan, Judas was meant for this part to happen, etc. im speaking on the fact humility & forgiveness are not weak. they are ESSENTIAL. not just with Christ - in life.

Happy Holy Monday friends. This will be my first time really celebrating this week and I'm really excited to use it as an opportunity to get back on my devotional game. It's only been a week but that is very unlike me. SO. That being said.

I love Holy Monday as this was the day Jesus called out those who were using the temple for corrupt or selfish reasons. The temple, once a place of prayer, had now become a roof for a small market. It's like Jesus agreed on separation? Funny ain't it?🫶🏻

I love this aspect of Jesus because it shows, like us, Jesus got angry. He yelled. He cussed. I think it's an important side to acknowledge.

I think about Mother Mary a lot leading up to the resurrection. The pain she felt seeing her beautiful baby boy whipped, nailed up, tortured. She too made a sacrifice & that's something I want to acknowledge as well this week.🦋

it is Wednesday my dudes.

There is no denying my love for music. My paternal grandfather loved music he named my dad after a band he loved back in the 60s, my maternal grandfather & his family growing up in the 40s & 50 had a family bluegrass band in a small town in Missouri. I can't wait to share my love for music with Stella. Something I can appreciate is how my parents really kept their nostalgia close. Exposing me to movies & music kids my age genuinely had not seen yet. I didnt appreciate it then but as I get older & that "era" gets further - I miss it more.🖤

i really want to be a present mother for stella but also - there's truly nothing on here that i care about more than on my own business. I like to come on here to feel creatively inspired & it's just so easy to get lost in mindless scrolling. Aside from that, I feel like I'm finding new hobbies & sticking to them. Something I've never really done before because the last almost 10 years was dedicated to tarot & feeling the need to compete in some weird way that was NOT doing me any good.
