1. My life isn’t content, it’s actually happening. Who on EARTH decided that we have to spend our (very little) free time stressing out about social media posts?
2. Photos can be deceiving.
A beautiful image doesn’t mean anything. My 8 year old could take a photo and turn it into a gorgeous hair post.
3. I won’t sacrifice presence for performance.
I’d rather be fully present with a guest than constantly thinking, “Should I post this?”
4. I don’t care about staying relevant. Popularity fades, integrity doesn’t.
5. My work and relationships speak louder than my feed. I will continue to post occasionally. However, the experience in my chair, the trust my clients place in me, and the relationships I’ve built mean more to me than daily online visibility.
