Daylight Saving Time is here, we spring forward today, and that means something we can all get behind, longer evenings and a little more daylight to enjoy around town.

With the extra daylight, take advantage of a quick stroll after work. A walk through 𝗛𝗼𝗿𝗶𝘇𝗼𝗻 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝗸, 𝗩𝗶𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘆 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝗸, 𝗩𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗮𝗴𝗲 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝗸, 𝗼𝗿 𝗗𝗼𝗮𝗻𝗲’𝘀 𝗟𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴, or even a short loop along 𝗠𝗮𝗶𝗻 𝗦𝘁𝗿𝗲𝗲𝘁, is a simple way to enjoy the longer days and shake off the winter routine.

Weeknight plans can be easy and still feel like a win. 𝑲𝒊𝒅𝒔 𝒆𝒂𝒕 𝒇𝒓𝒆𝒆 𝒐𝒏 𝑻𝒖𝒆𝒔𝒅𝒂𝒚 at Rusted Crow on the Lake, and the Belleville Area District Library is always a great stop to check out the kids and youth section, pick out a few books, or just enjoy some time together out of the house.

Longer daylight makes it easier to turn an ordinary weekday into something you actually enjoy. Instead of heading straight home, make a quick downtown stop first. Meet a friend, grab a bite, or treat yourself to a little “mini break” while the sun is still up. A great example is stopping at Johnny’s On The Lake for a bite to eat and soaking in the view of Belleville Lake, even a short stop feels like you got a little more out of your day.
