Maria's Cut & Dryed will be Closed July 28th to August 3rd.

Our oldest daughter and her husband are moving to Texas. I am riding down in Elena's car.

We are driving down on Tuesday July 28th and I will fly back on August 3rd.

See you either this weekend or on Tuesday August 4th,

George is staying at the office, but believe me when I tell you he doesn't know how to cut hair. What do you expect from an income tax preparer.

I will be on a WORKING VACATION from June 28th until July 7th. Our youngest daughter is buying a new home and needs help with painting and decorating.

One day a florist came in for a haircut. After the cut, he asked about his bill, and I told them , 'I cannot accept money from you, I'm doing community service this week.’

The florist was pleased and left the shop.

When I went to open his shop the next morning, there was a 'thank you' card and a dozen roses waiting at my door.

Later, a cop comes in for a haircut, and when he tries to pay his bill, Ireplied, 'I cannot accept money from you, I'm doing community service this week.’

The cop was happy and left the shop.

The next morning when I went to open up, there was a 'thank you' card and a dozen donuts waiting for me.

Then a local politician came in for a haircut, and when he went to pay his bill, I informed him, 'I cannot accept money from you. I'm doing community service this week.’

The polititian was very happy and left the shop.

The next morning, when I went to open up, there were a dozen politicians lined up waiting for a free haircut.

Of course this is a joke, I have been closed by the politicians for almost 2 months now. But they will be back asking for something in no time.

Waiting on the Govornor to allow me to be of service! Cannot wait to reopen and see you all again.

Dear Friends:

George and I hope you are doing well and staying safe during this time of uncertainty. We are all fine here and pray that you are as well.

When we reopen, it will be a time of adjustment for all of us.
As we move forward there will be some new rules until this pandemic is truly over.

1. You will be seen privately by appointment only.
2. There will be no spectators allowed. Your friends must wait outside in the car.
3. Bring a mask if you have one.
4. Bring gloves if you have them.
5. If you do not have gloves I will spray your hands with alcohol before you sit down.
6. I will wear a mask and gloves for you.
7. The chair and station will be cleaned between each client.

We hope you feel comfortable in returning, and would like to say be well and be safe.

In compliance with Governor Pritzker's Executive Order, Maria's Cut & Dryed will be suspending operations effective at 5 PM Saturday March 21st and will resume operations on Wednesday April 30th at 9:00 AM.

Closed Saturday March 24th. Our youngest daughter Anna is getting married this Saturday. We will be closing early 4 PM Friday to attend the rehearsal and dinner. We will return next Tuesday at 9:00 AM
