This GlowInto story is not just about an artist who paints with lipstick.

It is about what happens when a woman begins trusting the thing that keeps calling her back.

Alexis Fraser, known as Lipstick Lex, has built a creative world through makeup, custom portraits, live events, weddings, keepsake pieces, and art inspired by iconic women. But what stood out most in our conversation was not only what she creates — it was how she has learned to create a life that fits who she is.

When she looks around at other women in her age range, she sees something powerful happening.

“All of my friends in my age range are truly coming into themselves and total badasses, I don’t think anyone is underestimating themselves anymore

At 41, Alexis is building her own stage, showing her daughter what is possible, and reminding us that success does not have to follow one traditional path.
