Hispanic Heritage Month is a reminder to support your local community and businesses! Culture is so important and I’m constantly trying to represent mine in a positive way! Trust me, discrimination is unfortunately still in full effect. In my daily life with work, wether it be followed around in the store while I’m shopping, attending events where I still feel like I don’t fit in the “clicks” and not fully excepted is really hard! Don’t get me wrong in my industry I have been blessed to meet amazing people who truly do love me for me but it definitely reminds me of high school where everyone has their groups, especially influencers and woman in fashion! It’s hard looking at those fun event or collab pics and not seeing Latina’s represented enough or at all! I’ll continue to push forward and represent myself and culture ALWAYS!
