For every client who's been on this journey with me, as a working mother with some of you having been along for every step of her 19 years..
I thank you for all of the love and the support and the encouraging words you had given me along the way. Because of you I believe I became a better mother ♥️
But now here we are the moment I officially delivered her off to her new life in NYC .. 😭
Proud of the life she's creating is an understatement As I know she will go on to do great things!
Though for as much as my heart is breaking to be home again without her..
I'm feeling Equally as blessed for all of the beautiful moments we had together.. ♥️🙌
Given they were hard-earned moments considering I ran to more stores than I ever dreamed I'd have to..
dragged my tired old broken sore feet out onto the street time and time again so we could do Street markets and museums & a couple of early morning trips to Target and Macy's for whatever she needed & wherever she asked me to go..
All because as a mother delivering her daughter to college.. I fully understood the assignment!
There will Never be a "cats in the cradle" story going on between us As we were flying out together I told her, I'm here for you kid.
You just tell me when and where you want me to be and I will make it happen for you!
And I did, Because that is all I ever wanted from the moment she was born.. to be the kind of mother I never had myself.. one who actually showed up when needed & cared enough to make it about my daughter & not myself.. for this I am proud to say mission accomplished..
I Became the mother I wish I had & with this we killed New York!
Now i get to sleep well at night knowing she's tucked in to one the comfiest dorm bed's I could have ever created for her and bonus points it came with a view to die for 🙌
So Here's to her future starting out right..
I can't wait to see where this beautiful amazing tenacious and daring daughter of mine takes us all next ♥️

THIS has been my life for the last 19 years. ♥️

To all the hairdressing mothers out there, we see you.
You spend your days caring for clients, listening, supporting, creating confidence and making other people feel good about themselves.
Then you go home and the caring doesn’t stop.
There are lunches to make, clothes to wash, homework to help with, bedtime routines, early mornings and all the little things that so often go unseen.
Balancing motherhood with a career behind the chair isn’t always easy, and you probably don’t get told often enough just how much you’re doing.
So this one is for you.

Feel so honored this mama to be made it in to see me one more time before she becomes a mama of two ♥️ love and blessings go out to you E 🙌

As many of you know I will be heading to New York in August to deliver my daughter to college. 💔
This means by now my books are pretty much full for August.
Though with in the next 3 weeks I just happen to have availability to still get you in for last minute appointments.
As always longstanding current clientele receives priority booking. then any Unfilled appointments
I have will be offered up to my waitlist for new clientele. ♥️

On this day of celebrating freedom, possibly with navigating large crowds and or family interactions...
It occurred to me recently how so many people seem to be struggling in this world.. constantly dancing between uncertainty and the unknown.. trying to control the narrative by attempting to shift another's mindset..
It can be a bit unnerving to say the least.
& Yet many have started to acknowledge how good I seem to be doing.. That is above and beyond everything I've got going on within my own world around me. 🤦
But i have to say I can't disagree with them because I feel it within myself as well ♥️
and for this I'm incredibly grateful 🙌
Though One of the biggest shifts to occur within my mindset is when I first heard of the
"let them theory"
Because if there is one thing I've learned over the years is that "control is an illusion" ...

Fact is the only power we hold comes from within
& By "choosing your peace, choosing your growth, & standing within your integrity"
That is where our power resides.
So
Of all the lessons I've learned over my life I'd say that the greatest of them all is the fact that equanimity starts from within,
the moment i just simply ..
