Skin type makes a *huge* difference in your Microblading procedure, after care, and touch up routine. ⍤

𝗢𝗶𝗹𝘆 𝘀𝗸𝗶𝗻:
•can have a harder time retaining pigment with traditional Microblading, machine strokes and shading tend to have a longer-lasting effect
•will have more of a dry healing process with less creams (because the skin already produces it’s own natural oils we don’t need to replace them as much)

𝗗𝗿𝘆 𝘀𝗸𝗶𝗻:
•tends to retain color for longer
•should exfoliate leading up to Microblading procedure (to help remove as much dead skin off the surface as possible and stimulate oil production)
•will use more creams for healing

𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗯𝗶𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝘀𝗸𝗶𝗻:
•typically will be more oily around the T-zone and dryer everywhere else
•will have an additionally personalized after-care routine depending on where the dry/oily areas of the skin are

Hey y’all! It feels like about that time to re-introduce myself. My name is Alexia Mason and my passion is to make your life easier! I have been in the beauty industry for 12 years starting in salon reception, moving to management, then made the leap to go behind the chair (or bed, in my case 🤣), and have been specializing in lash and brow services for 8 years.
I have an awesome 6-almost-7 year old son named Theodore and an incredible husband named Isaiah. We recently made a cross-country move from Washington state to my home state of MN! You can usually find us at a park, volunteering with our church, or playing T-ball in the back yard.

Growing up I always felt uncomfortable in my own skin… I was hairy, had big hands, acne, intense weight fluctuations, and was absolutely convinced I was not ever meant to be a beautiful, graceful woman like the ones I saw all around me. I had a longing to feel a symmetry between the outside of my body and the inside. I started to feel those sides of myself come together when I started practicing self care and radical self love, which I learned from my fellow beauty industry professionals (standing in front of a mirror 5 days a week and these people know how important it is to not have disdain for the reflection looking back at you.) I knew from age 6 what I wanted to do with my life—to help people. When I fell in love with the beauty industry it was the perfect opportunity to help women like me overcome our lack of confidence, to help them see in the mirror what those around them already saw: beauty, in so many forms.
