Many have asked how I came up with the idea of V’s. It was a place that we could go together and do more than get a hair cut. In 1999, the first V’s Barbers...
The answer lies in my fond memories of going to the classic barber shops for a hair cut with my dad while growing up in Tucson. I keenly remember the sights and smells of Nick’s Barbershop and the real experience of being a boy among men. It was a place that made lasting memories. My son was born in 1994 and I went looking for a barber shop that would let me make memories with him. I did not find
26 years ago V's Barbershop opened its doors for the first time. Millions of haircuts, laughs and lollipops later, we're happy you're still with us on this journey.

Now let me introduce you to the New Owners! Meet the Remigio Family! I’m so excited to see them flourish. Not only will you see them owning/operating the shop but you will also see Amanda cutting behind the chair!

Valued V’s clients,
After 10 years of owning the V’s Bellingham location, I have decided to make some changes for myself. I took over this V’s location after my late husband passed away and I was left widowed at 27 years old. I moved back home to Bellingham and had no plan with my life. When an opportunity to buy the Barbershop presented itself, I decided to take a huge chance on myself and my life and buy it. With no real experience running my own business, or managing staff in any capacity, I hit the ground running. And wow, what a journey the last 10 years have been! It’s been a rewarding, challenging, eventful, exhausting, and heartfelt journey. I couldn’t have done it without the amazing staff I’ve had. Some still here, and some who have gone on other paths in life. Thank you all, for everything. I will cherish all the memories and friendships that were created. I also couldn’t have done it without you, the clients. I have been so lucky to be a part of such an amazing community. I have seen so many of you come through that door. I’ve had many happy and sad conversations, with all sorts of different people. I have seen kids go from baby’s in car seats to elementary school. One thing life has taught me, it’s constantly changing, even when we don’t think it is.
So, with all that being said…
I am excited to announce, V’s Bellingham will be opening in the New Year under NEW OWNERSHIP! Don’t worry, we will still be the same V’s you know and love, just with some new friendly faces. I wish the new owner’s nothing but success!
We are expecting this to be a smooth transition, but please have patience with us while we work out any kinks!
