Meet Shira- offering massage and hot stone massage therapy here at Bow Sanctuary. Shira turned towards massage with curiosity about the interaction of mind and body, and eager to explore the deep internal dimensions of healing that can be accessed through physical touch. She began her massage journey in Bellingham and continued her studies in Chiang Mai, Thailand, where she was trained in Traditional Thai Yoga Massage. She incorporates these ancient techniques in her table work and enjoys the movement and playfulness that this modality has introduced into her practice. She is also well versed in treatment, relaxation, pregnancy, and rehabilitation techniques, and enjoys working with individuals from all walks of life. Shira approaches the body with honesty, compassion, patience and humility, gently inviting those she works with to become active participants in their own unique healing journey.
