Wanted to let my awesome clients know I'm taking a few days off, back to salon April 8th. Finishing up our major move and some R and R. Thanks for your understanding!

Started deep cleaning salon today getting ready! Still not sure when. Soon, very soon!

Unfortunately, Whatcom County has not been given the go ahead to re-open. On the COB "City of Bellingham" COVID 19 website, (I Googled and found it) shows a state map divided by counties and which are open or closed. Smaller counties, 75K or less can apply to re-open, 14 counties as of 5/22 are open. Larger counties like Whatcom will follow, we just don't when.
When the time comes, Salons, Bars, Barbershops, & Restaurants will re open in Phase 2.
It won't be like switching to "on", but more of a gradual transition to navigate our current situation. Safety protocol & guidelines will take priority & need to be followed. This is uncharted territory for all businesses involved, customers and clients as well. Patients will be a giant virtue as we get going and team work between us.
I will be booking hair clients, I get the green light from the State. I will be scheduling fewer clients per day than the norm, to maintain a sanitizing regiment in between appointments.
Clients will need to wait in their vehicles, as the waiting room will not be available. Each client will need to wear a mask and have a temperature check prior to entering the Salon.
Once inside, hand sanitizer will be available, masks remain on during your service & safe distancing followed.
Your understanding and patience during this difficult time is greatly appreciated. 😷🇺🇸😷

This is my friend Lily, been doing her hair since she was a little girl, soon to be a teenager! She came in with very grown out highlights, foiled the mohawk section just to blend, cut off several inches. Applied Pravanna Topaz Blue to previously lightened ends and framed her face with the blue. All with grandma's and granddad's approval of course.
