Honestly, sometimes it seems hard to believe that our clients’ favorite part about getting their hair done isn’t actually getting their hair done. I guess it’s just a bonus to leave the salon with fabulous hair.

Got Frizz?!?

Humidity, changing seasons, over processing, and using the wrong products can all add to frizz problems.

First of all, it is super important to start with high quality professional shampoo and conditioner. My favorite for most hair types is Loma Moisturizing shampoo and treatment.
For styling, always use a protective product before blow drying or heat styling. Loma Calming Cream is a great lightweight smoothing lotion that does not weigh hair down.
It’s a good idea to finish with an oil, serum, or light hairspray to lock in that shine. Try Loma Nourishing Oil Treatment. A couple drops is all you need!

This is Olive, our official salon greeter.

Whether you are a dog person, or a cat person, Olive will melt your heart. She "purrs" like a cat, leans into your scratches, and calmly turns over for belly rubs. She will also sit at your feet and "demand" some love. But very politely, of course.

Many of our clients say that Olive is one of the best parts about visiting Salon Aloha.
