I tell my clients to get out of their box. As a nail artist, I tend to know my clients’ preferences. But when it becomes a broken record, it’s time for a change. I tend to show that example by wearing nail colors that I normally do not wear. I am wearing white. I had used white polish on my clients for 40 years, but I never used it on myself. one time I chickened out when I thought about putting it on my nails, and I often had excuses for not trying it. This special client have been with me over 25 years. This client became the national president of the Zeta Phi Beta Sorority. I am proud to be part of an elite group of clients who are movers and shakers, in this day and age. As you can see, her colors are blue, white, and silver. Without any request from this client, I instinctively branded her with the sorority colors each and every nail service which she is very happy with. Pink and white are back at the salon for the time being. I started with performing this kind of service since 1990 because I want it to be good with performing at nail competitions. This has served me to be the best in my field by quit taking every detail of the process when I start it, I was using acrylic products. Today I use hard gel products and it was one of the hardest feats I had ever perform. Being that hard gel was out of my element, it took years of executing with each and every detail at every client visit. It’s still a process. If you ever come upon a person who booked with you for an appointment that look like this individual, please keep in mind she’s a fraudster who looks for beauty businesses through the Web by purchasing gift cards through your website, redeems down on the day of service all at booking for herself, after the service is rendered, she calls American Express to report fraud, a protocol that gives back her money which is in the form of a charge back to you. Chargebacks are harmful to a business because it’s more money you paying for then if it is to do an actual return yourself. In other words, if you did over $300 worth of services your charge back in addition to the return you would paying more than the $300 you was expecting to receive. Not to mention you will be considered high risk to business lenders when it comes to seeking a loan and the beauty business is a high risk industry as far as they are concerned to begin with. What happened to me was a fraudulent transaction. This client was not referred by anyone. She saw a weakness in the system which I was selected for this malicious intention to get free services by committing chargeback fraud.
