Friends For Change: Youth Center of Bellows Falls

We are a democratically operated and play based youth program that nurtures and supports personal and social wellness. We want to build a better community by inspiring and empowering children to become active civic members. Our program is based on the idea that everyone is unique, and therefore learn and live in different ways. We aim to build a nonviolent space where all people are treated equally regardless of their economic status, race, gender, sexual orientation, or belief system. Our Democratic Program sees young people not as passive recipients, but as active co-creators. All participants have equal say and are apart of the decision making process.
