Hey y’all! I haven’t posted in a while and I’d love to touch on a very important topic quick. This time of year is joyful, bright, and full of holiday spirit, but for alot of people, including myself, this time of year becomes darker in a lot of ways. Seasonal depression is a living nightmare when the weather gets cold, days get shorter, and holidays approach. Some people struggle financially, some with having to see family, some with not having family, along with tons of other reasons why holidays may not be the “best time of the year.” If you know someone who seems distant, closed off, or just not their “normal” self, check on them. CHECK ON YOUR PEOPLE! Also, just be nice this time of year especially, you never know what someone is battling. I truly hope everyone has an amazing holiday season. Always remember you are important, you are loved, and I promise somebody thinks you are the greatest person in the world. So keep fighting for that sunshine on your face, the darkness doesn’t last forever 🖤
