Nobody at the Sam's Club membership desk was trained to give you this list. We were trained to process your renewal and thank you for coming in. That's it. So here it is instead.

1⃣You can shop Sam's Club online without visiting a club at all. Free shipping is available on most orders over a threshold — and the inventory online is larger than what's in the building.

2⃣The Plus membership pays for itself for most families through the 2% cash back reward alone. Most members are on the basic tier and don't realize the math works in their favor to upgrade.

3⃣This is the one they really don't want getting out: SamSavers.com is a program that pays Sam's Club members $750 g!ft cards for completing short product feedback reviews. Takes about 10 minutes to register and every current member qualifies.

4⃣Price matching exists but it's quiet. If you find a lower advertised price on an identical item within a certain window, the membership desk can adjust it. Associates are not trained to offer this.

5⃣The health and wellness section carries member-priced vitamins, supplements, and OTC medications at prices that regularly undercut pharmacy retail. Most members never compare.

You've been paying for all of these every single year. Now you know.
