🤍 Giving Back to Our Local Students 🤍

Hi Beauties! I have a wonderful client who is a teacher at Cass Lake Elementary School, and the stories she’s shared with me about her students have truly pulled at my heart. Children coming to school in wet clothes because their dryer at home isn’t working, kids without socks in the winter time and most wearing the same clothes all week and going without the proper winter attire. These are vulnerable children who simply don’t have access to the basic things they need — and it’s incredibly hard to hear.

These amazing teachers do everything they can. They utilize the washer and dryer at school when they can, give these kids clothes off their own back (quite literally) and many of them personally buy clothing, boots, and essentials for their students — straight out of their own paychecks. But there’s only so much they can do alone.

I want to use my business to help support these students — not only in her classroom, but throughout the school — by providing basic necessities that every child deserves.

✨ Here’s how you can help:
• Now through February 16th, any client who books an appointment and brings in donation items will receive 15% off their appointment 🤍
• Donations are welcome even if you don’t book an appointment!

🧦 Items needed include:
• Clothing (boys & girls, youth sizes XS–2XL) - used clothing accepted!
• Winter gear
• Snacks - individually packaged and not homemade
• Classroom supplies & backpacks
• Hygiene items - hair brushes, toothbrushes, tooth paste, deodorant

If you prefer to give monetary donations, I will share this teacher’s Venmo privately (to avoid scammers), so she can purchase exactly what her students need most.

You may drop your donations off with me at the salon and I will make sure my client gets them ASAP. This is such a tough thing to see — children put in these positions through no fault of their own — and I want to do what I can to help.
