We have pumpkin spice candles.
Apple-scented candles.
And approximately 47 people asking if we have anything else that smells like fall. 😂

At this point, we’re pretty sure pumpkin spice is going to start coming out of the vents.

Meanwhile, our brand-new stove has officially entered its “WHY ARE WE STILL CANNING?” ERA. 😂

That poor stove has been getting a workout.

🌞🚨 MARKET DAY EMERGENCY ALERT: THE STOVE HAS RETIRED. 🚨🌞

Well folks… this was NOT a typical week around here. 😂

Our trusty stove decided it had worked enough and officially went on strike. We ordered the part. The part said, “See you whenever.” 😑

So instead of waiting around for a stove resurrection, we did what any reasonable people would do…

WE BOUGHT A NEW STOVE. 🔥😂

Which means limited jams & jellies today! The poor stove simply didn’t survive the week-long battle with our canning ambitions.

BUT FEAR NOT, PICKLE PEOPLE. 🥒

We DO have:
🌶️ Candied Jalapeños — sweet, spicy and dangerously addictive
🍎 Apple Butter — because apparently apples don’t need a functioning stove to cause trouble
🕯️ Fresh NEW candle scents — because if we can’t cook, we can at least make your house smell fabulous!

🌞 The weather is finally starting to cool down, but the sun is showing up today like it has something to prove. And guess what else? THE COLLEGE STUDENTS ARE BACK IN TOWN! 🎓

Which means it’s officially time for:
🍂 Cooler mornings
🎃 Pumpkin Spice season creeping toward us
🕯️ Cozy candle weather
🍎 Apple everything
🥒 And probably another completely unreasonable amount of pickles

We are setup at market today, all canned goods are available, and do have the bath and body stuff with, just not setup. Soaps don’t do well with the rain!

New this week, we have dilly carrots and apple butter.

Gonna stay until 11-12 or so, before the severe stuff is supposed to to hit us.

Apple butter time!

This machine is a life saver! First simmer apples until soft, (skins, seeds, stems). The. Strain juice from apples. Next add to the machine.

It separates the the pulp from the junk. So I have a waste bowl, pulp bowl (which will be the butter) and juice to make jellies with!

Hoping to have it ready for market on Saturday.
