Sunday Driving on a Saturday!
Every third Saturday in the Summer a group of Cars gathers while their owners drink coffee in Bemidji, Minnesota. Bring on the Cars and Caffeine :)

If you have never heard of an event like this - cars and coffee in Minneapolis started over ten years ago and has grown to over 15,000 attendees.

Blue Berry Shrub - let's do it.12 oz. berries ,1½cups (or more) granulated sugar, 1cup (or more) vinegar. Preparation -Gently mash berries in a jar, add sugar. Seal jar, shake it and let fruit sit at room temperature about a day (mixture should look very juicy). Strain fruit mixture through a fine-mesh sieve. Add vinegar to syrup and stir to combine. Pour shrub into a clean jar; cover with lid and chill, at least 1 week. Shrub can be made 6 months ahead. Keep chilled. Pour 2 Tbsp. shrub into a glass filled with ice and top off with club soda; stir gently to combine. Garnish with berries and/or herbs if desired.

Liquid gold comes in so many recipes - our solution obviously, but this is a recipe for spicy rum syrup that you can add to anything and it gets better. :) Just pure flavor. . . and tans.

100g dark brown muscovado sugar
1 pineapple, a few strips of skin, plus leaves to garnish
5 black peppercorns
5 cloves
1 cinnamon stick
Put the dark brown muscovado sugar and 200ml water in a saucepan, stir well, and heat gently until the sugar has dissolved. Add a few strips of skin from the pineapple, add the black peppercorns, cloves, and a cinnamon stick, then bring to the boil. Turn off the heat and leave to infuse until cold. Strain into a jug and set aside in the fridge until needed. Will keep for up to three days.
