Happy New Year from Tribe, y’all!

Hi everyone. I'm writing to let you all know that en era is ending. As of August 1, 2014, Plethora Salon will be no more. Not to worry, my entire salon family will be relocating to a beautiful new salon in a fantastic neighborhood very close by. Enz Salon is located at 525 NW Colorado Ave. near Sarah's Raw and Vegan, Strictly Organic Coffee, and Jackson's Corner. (Who says I'm obsessed with food??!) Brazilian Blowout Press Independent salon air monitoring performed by one of California's leading environmental safety companies has concluded that Cosmetologists exposure levels are more than SIX times lower than OSHA's most stringent and conservative standard for air quality safety.

All this buzz about Brazilian Blowout containing formaldehyde... The company firmly stands by their original statement that it absolutely does not contain formaldehyde. It's their # 1 selling point. They say the samples were taken from salons that bought the product from a different source, the implication being that it is counterfeit product.

Tickets to the gun show: The topic @ the salon lately has been my arms. Drop sets, people (Jen:)) 12 lbs, then 8, then 5. 12 reps, with a slow 10 count hold at the end. Flies (shoulders), then curls (biceps) then triceps (I only do 8 lbs for tri's) 3 times a week. Takes about 15 minutes. As taught to me by my trainer Stacey Sonne, the most awesome trainer in Bend! Feel free to ask questions:)

Brazilian Blowout update: It's been 5 weeks since I had mine. The curl is more prominent now than when I first got it, but the texture is still much more shiny/wavy. I love the way it's growing out. I will absolutely do it again!
