Gorgeous butterfly wings 💜 🦋 we love how these turned out. Both hands start with a silver cat eye followed with Crome and 3D gel on top. They turned out stunning and since we couldn’t decide on a color we went with warm golden orange one one and cool blue on the other. It was interesting to come up with what I thought would be art that leaned in that direction. “I created the Gemini twins: sun and moon, warm and cold, light and dark - spicy attitude and nice all wrapped up in one. The nails directly to their sides are the profiles of their hair and crowns with sun and moon symbols. I loved the way the cat eye played under the chromes to make the hair, and show the warm curls of sun and smooth long hair of the moon twins. “The pinkie and the thumb sides have soft pink backgrounds, florals with Gemini symbols, and connected twin faces looking east to west. On the other side are theatre masks in happy and sad. The thumb has a Gemini symbol with crystals and geometric designs, and the pinkie has the Gemini constellation in crystals with a 3D sun and crescent moon. “There are also two nails with side of ‘air’. I love the texture and flow of these sides. They sparkle and have so much movement. Challenge 5 was to create colorful transition - I chose Momento Mori - the beautiful transition between life and death with a theme of Earth, wind, fire, water and spirit. We all did some amazing works using cream colors….and all 9 of us are now tasked to create one more nail to move on. Let’s see where the color will flow….

Oh I love a good isolated chrome - clean lines - mirror chrome shine - OH MY!! Loving these more “simple” but bougie looks. The mirror chrome silver studio gel from is INCREDIBLE!! And their gold chrome is seriously so shiny 💜 🔥

Wow!! ✨ 💜 🔥 My mind is blown and I’m so excited!! I made it through round 4!! We went back to the Era that made me and this set was all about 80s! Thank you!! Thank you to for all the feedback and this incredible experience and thank you for the fun and memory inspiring round. I LOVED this round. All the colors, pieces of the past, textures and music brought back so much! One side is all 3d elements of different 80s -beauty/musc/technology/energy/culture - the other side is a radio synth/miami vice feel - and prints/vibes of clothing from that time. Gotta love those parachute pants!! Looking forward to the next challenge and what that will bring.

THANK YOU!!! I made it through round 3!! I’m so excited to be able to continue the NASNA competition!
This round was hosted by and was “a memorable melody”. A memory from music , something that plays in our mind and evokes emotion and colors and texture. I chose my musical tour to Europe when I was a teenager where I played music. We played the Wizard of Oz orchestral symphony. Many memories in this set for me, along with little handpainted details from London, Paris, Switzerland, and Austria. Among some art showcasing me playing the tuba. We even danced while playing! This set has 3-D elements, hand painted designs, a hinge that opens up to memories found inside, and all around a fantasy Oz feel...It was incredible to relive some of these memories and be able to put them into art on nails. Thank you so much for the continued opportunity to create.
