There are a lot of makeup artists out there.

And somehow, these brides found me.
They connected with my work.
They budgeted for me.
They trusted the process.
And ultimately, they chose me.

That will never be something I take lightly.

Because when a bride sits in my chair on one of the biggest days of her life, it isn’t just about the makeup. It’s about trust. It’s knowing that for the time you’re in my chair, you are my priority.

These little reveal moments are some of my absolute favorites. Watching a bride see herself, light up, smile, sometimes tear up, and realize this is it… I’m a bride today.

And these are only SOME of my 2026 brides.

Every single one trusted me to give them makeup that still felt like them, just elevated, intentional, and worthy of such a huge day.

You could have chosen anyone.

You chose me.

And I will forever be grateful that you did. 🤍

A little Makeup Artist PSA:

When you’re filling out an inquiry form, please stop writing “N/A” for everything or leaving important questions blank.

We’re Makeup Artists. We’re not mind readers.

And there isn’t just one universal version of “getting your makeup done.”

Bridal makeup, branding, headshots, family photos, special events, maternity, bo***ir, lessons, full glam, barely-there makeup…there are SO many variables within every appointment.

Your event, location, timeline, number of services, personal style, wants and needs all help us understand what you’re actually inquiring for and whether we’re the right fit for you.

Those questions on an inquiry form aren’t there just to fill space. The more information you give us from the beginning, the better we can guide you, prepare for you and create an experience that actually fits what you need.

We can do some pretty magical things with makeup.

Reading minds just isn’t one of them.
But like…..

But like… I can read that you might not even know what you’re inquiring for if every answer is “N/A.” 😂

I’m a licensed aesthetician and professional makeup artist with over 16 years of experience, and my style has always been simple: you, yet enhanced.

I’m skin-first focused because beautiful makeup starts with properly prepped skin. When the skin is cared for and intentionally prepped, you don’t need layers upon layers of makeup to create a beautiful, long-lasting finish.

And setting your makeup? It doesn’t have to mean powder upon powder followed by setting spray upon setting spray. It’s about being strategic and intentional with where, why, and how you use each product.

Any skin type. Any skin tone. Any race, gender, or age — I’m your girl.

I want you to look in the mirror and still see YOU — just elevated, polished, and feeling damn good.

If you’re looking for full-blown, heavily layered glam where the makeup walks into the room before you do… sorry babe, I’m probably not your artist.

But if you want skin that still looks like skin and makeup that enhances instead of masks?

Get your Cheeks in my seats!

Makeup is marketing.

Hiring a professional makeup artist for your branding shoot isn’t just about “looking pretty.” It’s about making sure the person representing your brand looks intentional, polished and camera-ready while still looking like themselves.

Professional makeup is designed with the entire finished image in mind; lighting, photography, your brand aesthetic, wardrobe, location and how the makeup will actually translate through the lens.

Whether you’re a business owner, model, photographer, content creator or building a campaign for your brand, your makeup should be part of the creative direction, not an afterthought.

Branding. Editorial. Commercial. Content creation.
Yep, I do that too.

Honestly, I wanna know who these people are saying you shouldn’t hire a makeup artist… because clearly they’re not my people.

Dumb. Stupid. Crazy. Dangerous.

Hiring a professional makeup artist isn’t just about “putting on makeup.” It’s about having someone who understands how makeup photographs, how it wears for hours, how to enhance YOU without making you feel like someone else, and how to make getting ready feel like part of the experience.

So yeah… skipping the makeup artist? Saved by the Bell said it, not me. #ᴘʀᴏᴍᴜᴀ

Your makeup should have a moment with your eyes open AND closed.

When choosing your makeup inspiration, look at the balance of both.

Eyes closed, you get to see the artistry, the blending, dimension, shimmer, placement and all those beautiful little details.

Eyes open, you see how that artistry works with your eye shape, your features and your face as a whole.

And to me, both are equally important.

Whether I’m doing your makeup for your wedding day, an event, or a bo***ir session, I’m always thinking about how your makeup is going to translate from every angle and in every expression, especially once you’re in front of a camera.

And speaking of bo***ir… little reminder that weddings aren’t the only place you’ll find me.

I’m also the resident makeup artist at Babe City Studio (Babe City Studio - Bo***ir Photographer in Oregon ) here in Central Oregon, creating makeup for their bo***ir sessions. And bo***ir is SUCH a fun opportunity to play with your look, whether you want soft and romantic, sultry and smoky, barely-there sexy, or something a little outside your everyday comfort zone.

The goal is never to make you look like someone else.

It’s taking the inspiration you love, adapting it to your eyes, your features and your vision, and creating something that photographs beautifully-

eyes open AND eyes closed.

Wedding. Event. Bo***ir.
Still you. Just intentionally elevated.

Kinda chic to have “making women feel beautiful” in the job description.

But truly, it’s so much more than makeup.

It’s creating a space where you can sit in my chair, exhale, laugh, feel taken care of, and walk away feeling like you, just elevated.

After all these years, watching someone look in the mirror and light up still never gets old.

Pretty lucky this gets to be my job. And yeah… kinda chic.

This. This is the whole point.

Not whether your foundation looked exactly like the photo you saved six months ago.

Not whether you chose the perfect lip color.

Not whether every single detail went exactly according to the plan.

This.

Marrying your best friend.
The way they look at you.
The exhale when the planning is finally over.
The laughing, the crying, the holy s**t, we’re married kind of joy.

Yes, your wedding makeup is an investment. And yes, you should do your research. Look through your artist’s website. Scroll their social media. Look at real brides, different skin, different ages, different styles. Make sure their work feels like you. And just as importantly, make sure they feel like someone you connect with.

Then, when you’ve chosen the right person, trust the process.

Communicate. Advocate for yourself. Tell your artist what you love, what you don’t love, what makes you feel beautiful and what makes you feel unlike yourself. You should always have a voice in how you look and feel.

But once you’ve done that?

Zoom out. Remember the big picture.

You hired professionals because you trusted them to take care of their piece of your day. Let them.

Your makeup artist wants you to feel incredible. Your photographer wants to capture it. Your planner wants things to flow. Your entire team has been hired to hold all of those details so that you don’t have to carry every single one of them.

Because someday, when you look back at these photos, I promise you’re not going to be thinking about whether you should have chosen a slightly different blush.

You’re going to see this.

Two people ridiculously in love.
Married.
Happy.
In absolute bliss.

That was the whole point all along.

Let’s talk about being present.

There are SO many decisions that go into a wedding day. By the time you actually get to that morning, your brain has probably already made approximately 4,732 decisions and the last thing I want is for makeup to feel like one more thing you have to manage.

That’s where experience matters.

I’ve been in the beauty industry for over 17 years, spent the last 10 years building my bridal makeup business, and I’m also a licensed aesthetician. I understand skin, how makeup works with it, how products layer, and how everything needs to wear through photos, hugs, happy tears, weather, dancing, and a very full day.

But experience is also about so much more than the makeup.

It’s knowing how to read the person sitting in my chair. It’s listening. It’s knowing when we need to adjust something and when we just need to give everything a minute to come together. It’s creating an environment where you can actually relax because someone else is taking care of you for a little while.

Every person who sits in my chair is my priority in that moment. I want you to feel heard, comfortable, cared for, and confident as hell when you get up.

Because your wedding morning shouldn’t feel like another thing you have to oversee.

Sit down. Have your coffee. Talk to your people. Take in the morning.

I’ll take care of the makeup.

And when you look in that mirror, my goal is always the same:

You. Just elevated.
