Wedding season is officially in full swing

A few important things to remember leading up to your wedding day:

• Prioritize a consistent skincare routine months before the wedding
• Drink plenty of water (your skin will thank you)
• Wear SPF 30+ daily
• Avoid over-exfoliating or trying new treatments too close to the event
• If you plan on spray tanning, do it before your bridal trial so your artist can properly color match your makeup
• Save makeup inspiration photos to help clearly communicate your vision — even if you want a more natural or simple look
• Schedule your bridal trial months in advance to secure availability, but ideally have the appointment take place within a few weeks of the wedding day
• If you want a lip color for touch-ups, choose one you’ll actually love wearing beyond the wedding too
• And most importantly… trust the process 🤍

Absolute chaos in the best possible way. The fact that we’re using hot tools as telephones is still iconic behavior honestly.

Just a little reminder that Kelsey and I did a glam photoshoot with Eli Roberts (you better follow and hire this guy cause he’s awesome ) a couple years ago and to this day, these are still some of the most epic, creative, perfectly “us” photos we’ve ever taken.

Kelsey and I met almost 10 years ago (she’ll probably fact check me on that 😂), and somehow our friendship started from trauma bonding over a very questionable 5 a.m. photoshoot at the Shilo Inn. A little sketchy? Maybe. But apparently fate said, “You two are gonna become a glam duo now.”

Since then, we’ve built such a seamless partnership together. We lovingly call ourselves “Partners in Glam” because wedding mornings, timelines, pivots, schedule changes, touchups, calming nerves, fixing veils, hyping clients up — we move through it all like a synchronized dance at this point. Half the time we’re adjusting things behind the scenes and nobody even notices because we’ve worked together for so long.

And honestly? We just genuinely love working together.

Over 16 years into my makeup artistry career and I still get excited every single time I open my kit 🤍

While a lot of people know me for wedding makeup, my artistry goes far beyond bridal. I also do makeup for bo***ir sessions, photoshoots, events, productions, and one of my absolute favorite things… makeup lessons.

There is something so empowering about helping someone feel confident in their own skin and confident in their makeup skills. Watching that little spark happen when someone looks in the mirror and feels GOOD? That will never get old to me.

As a makeup artist, I go where I’m needed—and honestly, I love that. Makeup keeps my creative side flowing. It challenges me, inspires me, and fills my cup in a way that’s hard to explain. Truthfully… I get sad when I’m not creating.

When I’m not slaying the brush and color game, I’m a mom to Ruby and Corbin, wrangling our three cats (Lady, Hobbes, and Freya), and chasing around our puppy Winston—who somehow has about 47 nicknames already 😂

My husband and I also recently took on one of our biggest adventures yet: becoming owners of Rosemary & Fox ( )our French-American inspired fine dining restaurant in downtown Bend. Hint hint… it’s also the perfect space for proposals, engagement dinners, rehearsal dinners, intimate parties, and small elopements. We’re even working on special event packages with some incredible local planners 👀 side note: we have the most cutest intimate secret little garden to dine in too and low key magical.

Outside of work, you’ll usually find me in the woods hiking, lounging/playing near/in water, or playing in my garden.

I truly believe life should be filled with whimsy, creativity, adventure, connection, and love.
