and especially… “don’t open something as niche as a blowout business.”
but i did it anyway.
i started bend blowouts with nothing but a vision, a chair, and the gut feeling that people here wanted something different — something luxury, intentional, and all about styling.
i didn’t have investors.
i didn’t have a team.
i didn’t have a big salon name behind me.
just me, my brushes, and a dream i couldn’t let go of.
i moved salons, rebranded, launched memberships, built my own website, and created a whole little world around blowouts in bend.
i got brazilian blowout certified.
i built a membership system from scratch.
i figured out how to make this work even on weeks when i had no idea how i’d pay rent.
and my clients… you’ve changed my life.
you’ve shown up for me, trusted me, cheered for me, referred your friends, and made bend blowouts what it is today.
your support has been the reason i get to wake up and build this business that everyone once told me “wouldn’t work.”
and now a chain blowout bar is opening in bend next year —
and instead of being scared, i’m proud.
because before any of the big names got here, a 20-something girl with a dream and a round brush built a space that people already love.
i’m so grateful for every single person who has helped me grow this.

every person who believed in me when it was just an idea in my notes app.
i’m proud of what i’ve built.
i’m proud of who i’m becoming.
