This past Sunday, we had the opportunity to learn from Kron Gracie.

3 hours of discussions and drilling, and a perspective on the art that you absolutely will not get anywhere else.

What we enjoyed the most was a refreshing shift away from how seminars are usually structured…. Instead of simply teaching a set of ‘moves’ and trying to refine technical details of the moves, Kron taught more about the “why” and the “when.”

His take on the mentality of when and why to apply subtle pressures and adapt to your opponent’s tactics over the course of a match is much different - and far wiser than most teachers, which is one of the reasons why he has had such success in jiu-jitsu.

Congrats to everyone who made it in and humbled themselves to learn from one of the greats.

What a pleasure to learn from a U.S. Wrestling legend Rico Chiapparelli this weekend at Danzig MMA. Rico is Dan Gable coached NCAA national champion wrestler for the University of Iowa that led the charge of high level wrestling in MMA, and changed the game while coaching legends like Randy Couture and Lyoto Machida. He was as concise a teacher as Mac reported, and I am greatful to have learned from him. Thank you Rico and Danzig MMA.
