Hi, I'm Dannie, founder of Silky Smooth Sugaring. 👋
I wanted to take a moment to introduce myself and share the story behind the brand.
Silky Smooth Sugaring was created with a simple mission: to provide estheticians with professional-quality sugaring products, meaningful education, and a deeper understanding of trauma-informed care.
As an esthetician and educator, I've seen how powerful it can be when clients feel safe, respected, and cared for throughout their services. That's why our brand goes beyond products—we focus on education, community, and helping beauty professionals create exceptional client experiences.

We need to talk about Trauma-Informed Care in the sugaring room.
Sarah and Dannie went deep on this in our recent live — because this conversation is long overdue in our industry.
Sugaring is intimate. We're asking clients to be vulnerable, often in areas tied to deeply personal experiences. And most of us were never trained on how to hold that space safely.
Trauma-Informed Care isn't about being a therapist. It's about understanding how the body holds trauma — and how something as simple as your language, your draping, or the way you ask for consent can either create safety or trigger a stress response.
Our clients deserve better. And so do we as practitioners.
