It's no secret that I purely enjoy being a part of peoples epic, life changing moments; the cake rather than the crumb I should say if you like analogies like me!

Marinating in my thoughts during early quarantine only confirmed this post. I was signed up for real estate school in March which got postponed due to Covid. Classes went virtual in late Summer and so here we are!

Being in a service-based industry is rooted deep inside of me and for one of many reasons I have shifted my focus and am proud to announce my new title as a Pennsylvania Realtor.

Even better, I've partnered up with my hubby who's not only licensed in PA & NJ, but has over 15 years experience in residential construction and now flips, investments, etc.

He has many strengths that I admit I do not have and if I’m keeping it totally real, visa versa applies as well!

He can enter into any home and see WAY past the paint and kitchen cabinets. His vision, observation and experience has me beaming with excitement knowing the significance he can bring to all this.

I don't generally post color/cuts on grid but I couldn't resist 😍

I have seen countless clients move away from traditional highlights (totally cool) to more of a natural, balayage.

Here I did balayage, babylites, lowlights (to break up some summer blonde), a toner + a root shadow.

I feel as though Covid has changed the way clients decide to wear their hair. Something more "manageable", natural, and slightly lower maintenance.

Great experience!

We used Fresh Beauty Lounge on the recommendation of another artist who was unavailable for our rescheduled wedding date. Everyone was on time and super friendly, and I couldn’t be happier with their work!

Ariella was my hair stylist, and executed my vision perfectly with just a photo of what I wanted. It looked great and held up the entire night with no issues. Steph, my makeup artist, also did a wonderful job despite my very vague requests as someone who never wears makeup. The finished product was light, natural, and most importantly still looked like me! I would definitely recommend Ariella and her team!

Pictorials have been my favorite! Although I love posting and breaking them down, I mostly do it for myself so I remember what we did to each bride and can later take notes if needed!

✨Step one: curl hair with one inch iron. I mostly focused on the top and did rough curls at the bottom because her hair was really heavy! I teased the crown area and gathered and pinned in the center, remembering to keep it tousled and pulled apart.

✨Step two: lots of twists, pulling apart and pinning into my center base. I always leave my sides out and leave them to last

✨Step three: create dutch braid on the side (remember to leave hair in the front, if desired) Pull apart and let hang out until all other side pieces are back. Side note for braids: physically move along with your braids when creating them.

✨Step four: finish up this style by tugging and loosening anything up that doesn't scream the word ROMANTIC. Trim side pieces if too long. Perfect length (WHEN CURLED) should be between chin to collarbone.

Life still feels weird to me. As a business we had to make a ton of changes that continue to evolve. We've had to pivot. And pivot again. And once again.

Today is the Jewish New Year and it feels appropriate to want to start a new year right NOW.
