For the health of your hair and to ensure we can achieve the best possible result, I do not offer corrective color services on hair that has been colored with box dye, drugstore color, or other non-professional color products.
Box color can contain ingredients that react unpredictably with professional lighteners and color, and there’s often no way to know exactly what has been deposited onto the hair. This can make the correction process extremely unpredictable and can put the integrity of the hair at risk.
My priority will always be healthy hair first. Rather than risk unnecessary damage trying to remove or correct an unknown color history, I may recommend maintaining your current color, allowing the hair time to recover, or referring you to a stylist who specializes in extensive color corrections.
There is absolutely no judgment if you’ve used box color! I just want to be transparent about what services I can safely and confidently provide. 🤍
If you’re unsure whether your previous color qualifies as box color, please feel free to reach out before booking. I’m always happy to chat about your hair history and determine the best option for you!

I love me some old money blonde 🫶🏼
I started prepping my grandson for his future haircuts today. I have had so many salon guests follow this method with their baby boy and we have had absolutely no head chasing in the chair or massive fits .. these boys actually LOVE getting their hair cut when it comes time.
As seen here I am using the end of the trimmers / clippers that does not have the blade on it. It’s the vibration and sound that we want to desensitize boys to so they are not later scared of the sound and feel against their head. This has been a tried and true method I have recommended for 20 years & it works!

Well, please check us out! SALON JUST TEASIN' is a small salon in Benton, just two stylist, but we have room for you too!
We are looking for a full or part time stylist to join our salon. Booth rent for full time is $100 weekly, and part time is $75 weekly. We supply your own station, towels, capes, and a space for your color, perms and other salon supplies.
You may bring your own clientele, work the days and hours you choose and use your favorite products. You are your own boss.
