Many of you know Jonathan as the face you see in the shop most days. He’s the one helping customers, stocking shelves, answering questions, and making sure everything keeps moving forward. What many may not see is that his most important job begins and ends with being Trinity’s dad.

Watching him with her is one of life’s greatest blessings. Through every school project, every celebration, every challenge, every laugh, and every milestone, he shows up. Consistently. Patiently. Wholeheartedly.

Today we celebrate all the fathers, grandfathers, stepfathers, and father figures who lead with love, sacrifice, and presence—Happy Father’s Day. Your impact reaches farther than you know.

Many of you know that over the past year and a half I’ve been navigating some significant health challenges, including a rare condition called Dercum’s Disease.

While I recently shared more of that journey on my personal page, I wanted to take a moment to express my gratitude here.

As our family has walked through this season, the day-to-day responsibilities at The Oil Shop have naturally shifted. Jonathan, who is not only my son but also my business partner and co-owner, has carried an enormous portion of the operational side of the business.

Many of you see him in the shop regularly, but what you may not see are the long hours, problem-solving, inventory management, customer service, and countless behind-the-scenes responsibilities that help keep everything running smoothly.

Watching him lead, grow, and serve our customers with excellence has been one of the greatest blessings of this season.

The Oil Shop has never been just a business to us—it’s a family effort. From Jonathan’s leadership, to Trinity’s occasional helping hands and smiling face, to the customers who have supported us year after year, this business exists because of a community we’re incredibly thankful for.

Thank you for your prayers, encouragement, patience, and continued support. We don’t take any of it for granted.

We’re grateful for where we’ve been, hopeful about what’s ahead, and honored to continue serving this community we love.
