Yo salty peeps. You knew I’d peep my head out eventually, and I am so sorry to have left this hanging for several days. In no way did I mean to keep you guessing or hurt any of you, we love all of you and I’m just asking for you guys to be patient with myself and Hal in the next couple of weeks while we debrief and kinda swallow all of this mess. There’s really no big secret, no big gossip to it. We didn’t know either until we were given 3 days to leave and you guys know how much crap I had 😳 it wasn’t feasible for us to find another place and pack up and understand it all in 3 short days so with the help of a high school friend and her precious hubs, the 4 of us packed up what has been my life and Hals life for the last 4.5 yrs and moved it out. There was no time to digest what it all meant nor time to post anything and whenever we did finally get it all packed up and moved out, we hadn’t had alot of sleep. So it was catch up time for us. Pretty sure we died and came back to life. So we have not ignored anyone intentionally, in fact I have full intentions on responding to everyone and I appreciate so much your checking in on us. I don’t know what our next step is, I know I wasnt ready to quit and Hal is pretty much devasted as well. You guys have to understand this was her first job as a high school kid and her only job throughout college. She knows nothing else but to take care of everyone. She misses you guys and the afternoon talks and the 911 orders and all of it. To put it in perspective we’re grieving the loss of our baby that we worked so hard to develop and brand. We are grieving salt. Salt soap and all of you guys carried me through a divorce and the death of both of my parents. My customers are the reason and my only reason some days for getting out of bed and facing the day. You guys have been our cheerleaders our therapists our friends and have given us such purpose the last 4.5 yrs you have no idea how much your friendships mean to us. And we feel like we have let you all down whether it be our decision to leave or not, it breaks our spirits to think you might not get your va**na bar or laundry detergent and that’s no bu****it. We take our roles very seriously, and our hearts hurt and we are just trying to breathe right now. Thank you guys for not coming to cut me bc I haven’t said anything until now, but for my mental health I had to just step back a moment and try to make some sense of it all. I got nowhere btw. But I have been able to sit and feel the pain and the loss and the shock and grieve in peace for a moment and for that I thank you guys. We are hoping to keep the website up for now and hopefully be able to knock out your favorites as usual. It’s going to take a hot second though to organize. I love you guys and Hal loves you guys and we’ve not had a day yet to really think future but I promise to do better keeping you updated as we figure this out. We’re doing the best we know how to do right now and we promise to do our best to keep salts products coming at ya. Y’all are the best and we love you all and thanks for hangin with us for so long. We’ve loved every second with you guys and we’re hoping to keep taking care of all of you. We are so sorry from the bottom of our hearts. Please bear with us as we learn our new roles in life right now. We have mad love for each and every one of you!! We will keep you posted on what’s to come. We love you salty peeps!!
