If you have come to purchase anything from my shop in the last 2 months you know that it has been closed due to health reasons. Several of you have contacted me during this time & wondered when I will re-open. I wasn’t quite sure when I would be ready to take it on again but TODAY is that DAY! Purely LuzKo is open again & back in business! Thank you all for being so patient with me! Also today I am going to be chatting about my skincare regiment in stories! So stay tuned for that. I have found some new things I am LOVING!

Sometimes life is weird, where you thought it would take you it doesn’t & then when you thought it would slow down it ramps up. People often ask me, why I don’t sell my products in stores, go to events to sell them or have more products in general? Well the truth is, it’s just enough for me to be able to handle right now. If I expanded I couldn’t do it on my own & financially this business isn’t at a place to help support other employees. I have learned to be satisfied and ok with myself for that though. Do I wish I could formulate so many more products? Sure! Do I wish my products could help more people? Most definitely! Do I wish I could expand Purely LuzKo so that it was financially more sustainable & prosperous? Of course! Maybe someday I will be able to do all of that but at this point I am content to continue to provide the amazing natural products that we have. .
When you receive your products, it’s me that took the time to research, to formulate them, make them, package them, ship them, and pour love into them. And I hope that’s enough for now. 💗

A year ago today I officially launched Purely LuzKo! Our one year anniversary. I can’t believe it. This is a picture of the first products I created that literally changed my skin & my life.

If you have been with me since the beginning you may know the “LuzKo” in our name means to look or shine beautiful. It’s originally a Spanish word that has a “c” in place of the “k”. However I just couldn’t help but change it to a “k” for my name, Kelsey. I have always loved the Spanish language & that love for it grew when I lived in a predominantly Spanish neighborhood in New York City. So when my sister suggested that word I knew in my soul it had to be part of our name. My products are all natural but most of all they are pure. There is something absolutely beautiful about the purity of plants & flowers. It has always struck me since I was a little girl the innocence & beauty that they hold.

Whether you don’t feel beautiful on the outside or whether you struggle with your inner beauty shining outwardly, my goal from the beginning of starting this company was to make you feel beautiful & confident in your own skin. I didn’t start this business to make money but rather just to help you feel confident in your skin like these products did for me.

I have learned a lot this last year & still have lots more to learn. I haven’t launched products as quickly as I have wanted due to my health and a lot of times I get down on myself because I can’t do things as quickly as other entrepreneurs. But then I remember why I started this company. I have to live my life with the motto “One Day At A Time” or else it will all be too overwhelming & my health will get worse. So maybe I can’t help hundreds of people at once with their skin but one person at a time will do. That’s one more person that can learn to love their skin & begin a transformation from the inside out. .

Happy Friday friends!! I just can’t seem to get my act together this week. It felt like the longest week ever & yet I barely got anything accomplished. Anyone else with me on that?? Oh well! You win some, you loose some. 🤷🏽‍♀️ It was literally 80 degrees here yesterday and today it’s super dreary, rainy, & cold. Yep, it’s pretty crummy. Come back Spring! 🌸 However, I am thankful that even with the changing seasons my skin stays the same & blemish free (for the most part, hormones anyone?!) thanks to this balancing toner! It really is a godsend at keeping acne away, my skin tone more even, and pores clean. And it smells good too! “Work, work, work, work, work” Cue Rihanna friends because this is my jam these days! I am actually a researcher at heart so I love this part of formulating a new product. Ask my husband, he calls it “my special skill.” I actually get pretty obsessive & literally have to make my brain rest or else my body won’t be able to keep up! We are open again!! Vacation was wonderful but I am very happy to be home. Exciting things are happening at Purely LuzKo and I am so excited about the new products I am working on! If you wonder what I do to make products happen it looks a lot like this picture. Not to mention some major math, calculations, product testing & combining different ingredients just to get the perfect product! It takes a LOT of research, time, trial & error, and fine tuning.
