“Why does everyone say you need multiple microneedling treatments?”

Here’s the simple answer:

Microneedling isn’t meant to create an overnight transformation.

The treatment starts a healing and remodeling process within the skin. Your skin needs TIME to work through that process.

That’s why treatments are typically spaced several weeks apart.

Think of it less like:

And that’s one of the reasons I love this treatment—it isn’t just about what your skin looks like that day. It’s about what we’re working toward over time. 🤍

4 weeks from my last session so another microneedling session on a Saturday morning. This is my second session. I’ll do another session in 4 weeks and then likely move to maintenance sessions spaced out to every 3 months.

This is right after post treatment and post recovery mask! Skin feels like a moderate sunburn and tight. At this time feels less dry than the first session.

Today will be applying Lift HG (which is sent home with you) as well as a calming gel to apply as needed over the next few days!

Next 24 hours:
No direct sun exposure
Nothing that increases heart rate/sweating such as exercising, saunas, swimming, etc.
New pillow cover before bed tonight
No makeup
No hard face washes (water only or a gentle wash again one will be provided for you)
