Every syringe represents someone's goal.
A woman trying to manage her PMOS. A patient working to lower their A1C. Someone who wants more energy to keep up with their kids. Someone who's tried everything and is ready for a different approach.
GLP-1 medications have helped many people finally address the biological factors that can make weight loss feel impossible.
The medication is important, but so are the conversations, education, accountability, and support that come with it.
That's the part of this work I love most. Watching people regain confidence in their health and realize they're capable of more than they thought. š¤
Curious if GLP-1 medications might be right for you? Let's have a conversation about your goals, your health history, and the options available.

For years, PCOS made many women feel like their symptoms were being reduced to ājust cystsā or irregular cycles when the reality is often much deeper.
This week, experts announced that PCOS will begin transitioning to a new name: PMOS, or Polyendocrine Metabolic Ovarian Syndrome. The shift is meant to better reflect what so many women have experienced all along⦠this condition is not only reproductive. It is metabolic, hormonal, inflammatory, and deeply connected to whole-body health.
Many women navigating PMOS experience symptoms like insulin resistance, fatigue, weight struggles, inflammation, acne, fertility challenges, anxiety, brain fog, and blood sugar dysregulation. The new terminology helps move the conversation away from simply āovarian cystsā and toward a more complete understanding of what is happening inside the body.
This is also part of why GLP-1 medications have become such an important conversation in womenās health. Beyond weight loss alone, research continues to explore how GLP-1s may help support insulin sensitivity, metabolic function, inflammation, appetite regulation, and hormonal balance in some individuals with PMOS/PCOS. For many women, addressing the metabolic side of the condition can be life-changing.
A name change does not magically fix the gaps in womenās healthcare, but it is an important step toward validation, earlier diagnosis, better education, and more comprehensive care. Your symptoms are not ājust hormones.ā Your body is communicating.

Watching clients step into their confidence again never gets old. Kassy shared that working with me gave her the ability to succeed where she had struggled so many times before, and now she is 30 lbs down while creating real lifestyle changes that feel sustainable.
What means the most to me is not just the progress on the scale, but seeing confidence return, habits shift, and someone start believing in themselves again. Iām so proud of Kassy and grateful she trusted me to be part of her journey.

Some journeys are about so much more than what you see on the outside and this client has worked hard, stayed consistent, and created beautiful change from the inside out. More energy, less bloating, clearer skin, renewed confidence, strength in the gym, and feeling more like herself again. š¤
That is the kind of progress that matters most! Feeling good in your body, trusting yourself again, and stepping back into life with confidence.
Iām so proud of her and deeply grateful to walk alongside women on journeys like this. Watching someone feel brighter, stronger, and happier is the best part of what I do. āØ

Hi, Iām Kristi. š
If youāre new here, Iām so glad you found this space. And if youāve been here for a while, thank you for being part of this journey with me.
I started Panhandle Weight & Wellness because I saw how many people were doing āeverything rightā and still not feeling like themselves. Tired, frustrated, and disconnected from their own bodies. I knew there had to be a better, more supportive way.
My approach is simple but intentional. We look at the whole picture, not just the number on the scale. Your metabolism, your hormones, your habits, your lifestyle. And most importantly, how you actually feel in your day to day life.
This is not about quick fixes or extremes. Itās about sustainable change, feeling strong in your body again, and building something that lasts.
If youāve been thinking about starting but havenāt taken the first step yet, this is your sign!
Iām here when youāre ready š¤

Sydney started her GLP-1 in December 2024 and is down 78 pounds! š
But what she said to me stuck more than anything else⦠she feels better than she ever has. More confident, more like herself again and that is the part you canāt always measure, but itās everything.
This wasnāt about doing anything extreme. Just staying consistent, having the right support, and letting things work over time.
Iām really proud of you, Sydney. You did this š¤
If youāve been thinking about starting or just have questions, Iām here.

Thereās something especially meaningful about progress that shows up beyond the scale. She recently shared that her clothes are already three sizes smaller, and sheās noticing a meaningful increase in both her energy and endurance.
What stood out most was her ability to keep up with her three beagles on walks again. Itās often these everyday moments that signal real change, the ones that quietly improve quality of life.
She also noted how manageable everything has felt, from the medication to the nutrition guidance. That sense of simplicity and consistency is intentional, and itās a key part of creating results that last.
Iām grateful to be part of her journey and to support her along the way. If youāve been considering taking the first step, Iām always here to talk through what that could look like for you.

Last weekend at the Wedding Expo at The Venue by Brix27 was such a wonderful experience! šš
I always enjoy meeting people in our community, but events like this are especially meaningful. It was a chance to connect with brides, families, and other local business owners who are all part of helping create really special moments in peopleās lives.
I loved hearing everyoneās stories, talking about wellness goals, and sharing a little more about the work I do at Panhandle Weight & Wellness. My approach has always been about helping people feel their best from the inside out, and it was great to have those conversations face to face.
It was also a reminder of how many talented small businesses we have in our area. From beautiful event services to creative vendors, there was so much heart and creativity in the room.
And I have to give a special shout out to the incredibly talented ladies at Queen Creations who made the custom cookies featuring all of the vendorsā logos. Such a thoughtful and creative touch, and they were delicious too.
