If you know me you know I love natural texture to the sky!

I love lavender.

It comes and goes in popularity with hair color but so@etching about that dusty, cool color makes me love color and all it can do.

Before and after!

The assignment was lived in color with a pop. Soft root and hand painted highlights.

We started with Liberty clay based lightener + 40vol, followed by The Present Time, alkaline Demi with 15vol to bump the base 1 level and soften the transition between highlight and the rest. 10.33 was used base to ends for a seamless blend between a slight root shift and highlight toning.

Color Spotlight: Lilac

Color names are tricky – and not everyone agrees on what specific color they represent. However, most would agree that “lilac” is a light purple.

Fun fact:
Did you know the new nuance 10.22 in Davines’s The Present Time is a fashion shade? That’s right!! On blond hair it might appear more pink! So what do we do?!? We put it on white hair and add a little 9.11(about 10% of your formula). If you aren’t starting with white hair you’ll want to pre-tone your blond to make sure you’ve kicked out all the yellow before putting the final color on. The 10.12 is a great pre tone choice!

This 2,000-year-old ring was thought to have belonged to Roman emperor Caligula. His fourth wife Caesonia is engraved into the bezel.

One of Porsche’s rarest colors

Justin Roeser’s Porsche collection is dedicated to “Moonstone” – an elusive shade of lilac. This historic color s one of the rarest Porsche paint colors of all time.
