WAGING BEAUTY
Flowers sweetened the air. The full moon lit velvet skies.
Sultry nights carried us along the ocean’s salt waves soothing what we didn’t have words for.
Old and new friends gathered over the smoothest mezcal, the warmth traveling down our throats loosening truth.
We spoke the same life-language of passion, of music, of lineage and land, of longing, of life’s contradictions.
We remembered that beauty is a practice. A devotion, a choice, a relationship.
We did not escape the existential ache of being human. We faced it softly, we let it breathe between us and in that shared witnessing, the open wound of existence began to close transforming through presence.
In choosing it together, something shifted.
Beauty, practiced in community when in right relationship with the Earths elements and with oneself became the medicine.
If you’ve been craving a space to feel more spaciousness, sun, ocean, and to move with life instead of forcing it, SURF & SOL was created for you.
This isn’t about being “good” at surfing, it’s about learning to listen, to trusting your body, and to experience strength that is steady, and not loud.

WILD WOMAN: An Incantation
Before the noise, before the naming, before the world told her how to be she belonged to the land, the wind, the waters. She is the pulse of the earth made flesh.
She moves with the moon, rooted in her truth, rising with the sun. This is not just fashion it’s an invocation of wearing her truths.
A reclaiming. A reminder that you belong to yourself first.
Wrap yourself in the warmth of something that speaks to your untamed spirit, soft yet fierce, sacred, and made in small batch devotion for those who live through their hearts and their wild.
For the woman who remembers her divinity and dares to live it.
A Love Letter to the Land
With gratitude to the land we walk on and to the Native peoples whose ancestral and ongoing stewardship allows us to be nourished here.
I offer this as a small gesture of respect:
to move with awareness, to practice reciprocity, to stand in collaboration and solidarity, and to learn what right relationship truly feels like in the body.
May our presence honor the lineages that made this place possible.

EARTH BODIES
The water we carry in our bodies like our emotions must flow through art, through reflection, through vulnerability.
When we allow creative expression to flow through us we prevent stagnation and nourish vitality from within

Choosing Life Again and Again
May we remember nothing stays, not even the ache,
not even the joy that once felt infinite.
May we soften into the truth that everything we hold will one day unfold into something else.
Keep choosing what affirms your aliveness:
the people who make your soul expand,
the moments that ask you to feel deeply,
the beauty that reminds you
that impermanence is not loss
it is love, forever in motion.
SELF PRESERVATION
Our body is a vessel of every lived experience.
It holds our joys and heartbreaks, our silences and our stories. How we meet the world how we resolve conflict, express love, or hold back our truth all lives within the body.
When we ignore its whispers the ache in the lower back, the tension in the shoulders, the shallow breath we’re not just feeling physical discomfort. We’re hearing the echoes of what hasn’t been released. These are messages from the body’s wisdom, asking us to listen.
Because when stress becomes a constant hum, survival mode takes over.
And the emotions of fear, anger, anxiety, and hopelessness are not flaws they are signals calling us back home to ourselves.
Massage is not simply an act of relaxation.
It’s an act of self-preservation a remembrance of your innate capacity to heal, to soften, to thrive.
Through touch, breath, and awareness, the body learns safety again. The nervous system finds ease. The heart begins to trust.

TENDING TO YOUR LIFE FORCE
Every one of us carries a unique role in the greater whole. Not by striving to be someone else, but by living in deeper alignment with the life force that flows through us.
That life force originates from the earth with the air we breathe, the food that nourishes us, and the ground beneath our feet to keep us rooted into ourselves.
It is a gift and how we choose to live with it matters. When we ignore our bodies, push through exhaustion, or numb the aches, we slowly lose touch with that gift.
The disconnection from the body mirrors disconnection from the earth and its life force.
However, when we pause, when we breathe deeply, when we listen to the wisdom inside our muscles, our bones, our heartbeat something shifts.
That healing and tending to our bodies ripples outward into our families, communities, and the earth itself.
Your body is not separate from the greater story.
We begin to feel our own aliveness again. We remember that caring for ourselves is also caring for the larger whole. Your uniqueness matters and your presence matters.
The way you tend to your life force shapes how you contribute to the world we are all wanting to create together.

SLOW PLEASURE: A Reclamation
“Caring for ourselves is not self-indulgence, it is self-preservation, and that is an act of political warfare.” – Audre Lorde
Pleasure beyond the erotic is a return—to the rhythms of our bodies, our creativity, our joy. It’s the intimacy of feeling, the art of paying attention. The warmth of the sun on our skin, the laughter that escapes unexpectedly, the scent of earth after rain. It is presence. It is resistance. Remembering to be alive is to feel.
Adrienne Maree Brown reminds us: “Pleasure heals the places where our hearts and spirits get wounded. Pleasure reminds us that even in the dark, we are alive.”
A pleasure practice, Poetry in Bloom invites you into a space where poetry is not just spoken but embodied—felt, exchanged, and alive. A gathering to honor community, beauty, and the sacred dance of being. A reclamation of slowness, sensuality, and the joy of simply being here.
