For years, I thought certain areas of my body were just **“stubborn.”** 🪞 I thought I needed to lose more weight, work out harder, or simply try harder. 💭

Learning about **lipedema** changed the way I understand my body. 🤍 It’s more than cellulite or stubborn fat—it’s a chronic condition that can cause **disproportionate fat buildup, tenderness, heaviness, swelling and easy bruising.** 🦵🏼✨

Now I’m learning to **work with my body instead of constantly fighting it.** 🌿🤍 I’m sharing my journey because maybe it will help another woman recognize something she’s been struggling to understand too. 🫶🏼
