I had to submit over rows of extensions for critique AND it didn’t count if I didn’t get photos of the row grown out 6 weeks later. Today we’re shining the spotlight on our Bethesda stylist Lay Holley! Lay has been in the industry for 15 years. She got her education from Aveda Institute. She managed Bubbles Salons for years in the Montgomery County area before opening her own business with MODA in 2017 as Beauty Laboratory Studio

Lay specializes in all things beauty for men and women. She is an American Board Certified Haircolorist and an extension specialist. However, she likes to keep her days interesting so she is a full-service Hair Salon. She also provides facial waxing, bridal, and makeup services!

Beauty Laboratory is now an Invisible Bead Extension® Certified Salon. Extension services don’t always have to add a ton of length. This guest wanted to add thickness and volume to her hair and we achieved this with only two rows of IBE®! Just two rows transformed her short blunt bob into a long bob with body and movement. Hey guys. Lay here! This post is bittersweet. Today is my last day at Salon Lofts. I grew so much behind this chair, not only as an artist but as a woman. I am not just leaving this space but I’m leaving my friend who has been a constant for a decade. In that time, we’ve grown so much and, in some cases, in different directions. It’s time for us to spread our wings and do our own thing. It’s been a pleasure watching her grow. She will continue to operate at Salon Lofts with her own business. It has been a pleasure getting to know her clients and watch all of your transformations over the years. Love and light to all of you. To my clients, Beauty Laboratory will be moving to Moda Salon Studios in Bethesda. The address is 4711 Montgomery Lane Bethesda, MD. Booking with me will be the same process we’re just moving locations. I will be in Studio 9 in the back towards the right. I’m taking a few days off to unplug and regroup, and I will be back to business in full effect Saturday! Thank you all for supporting me over the years and following me up and down Montgomery County.
