Fungal acne is actually a form of folliculitis caused by a common skin yeast
It presents as acne like skin colored bumps most often on forehead, neck, side of cheeks and upper back. These can be itchy and tend not to respond well to typical acne medicines.
Here are the at home treatments I recommend as a esthetician:
1. Make sure to shower or bathe and change into clean clothes after sweating whenever possible
2. Spray Hypochlorous acid on affected areas when shower isn’t possible ( is my favorite)
3. Get monthly facials customized to what your skin is craving that month
