I’ve been using Bioherb for a month, and here’s my personal experience:

I have sensitive, reactive skin, and typically a product like this wouldn’t be the first thing recommended for my skin. But I still wanted to try it! My curiosity about spicules got the best of me!

After using it for the last month, I understand the hype — my skin feels softer, smoother, my makeup applies more evenly, and it feels like the rest of my products work better.

A few tips-

As you massage it into clean, dry skin, you’ll feel the prickly spicules — especially as the lotion absorbs. That’s completely normal. Take your time and really massage it in.

• Use at night on clean, dry skin.
• Avoid the eye area.
• Use it 1–2 times per week.
• I finish by gently patting on a small amount of hydrator.
• Stop using 3-5 days before your Facial.

My verdict? I love it.

Sometimes the best skincare upgrade isn’t another product — it’s helping the products you already own do their job.

Acids aren’t as straightforward as “stronger percentage = better results.”

The truth is, skincare acids are influenced by multiple factors—pH level, molecule size, and formulation all play a role in how an acid behaves on the skin. That’s why a lower percentage product can sometimes deliver more effective (and better tolerated) results than a higher percentage one.

This is your guide to understanding the different types of acids we actually use in practice—what they’re best for, why we choose them, and when to incorporate them into a routine.

From glycolic to PHAs, each one has a very specific purpose when used correctly.

And as always—acids can do incredible things for the skin, but only when your barrier is supported and your routine is intentional.
