It took me an hour today. I beat my time of 1.5 hours yesterday. PROGRESS. Power practice makes perfect. 11 months ago I was not having it, not into it, didn’t want to know it, because I sucked at it it. No one wants to suck. Especially me. I’d rather not than suck. I am starting to enjoy this. Did not think I could or would ever get here. Why am I doing this? Because I know the exhilaration of transformation when I have done clip in extensions. Giving someone the feeling of absolute gorgeous hair is intoxicating. Whether it be for one night, or 6-8 weeks. It is awesome. I am very blessed with some great hair. To give to someone, is thrilling. This is definitely happening for me. ❤️

I made the mistake of not taking a before pic. Gorgeous Stephanie came in with ends that were colored dark brown, with an unnatural amount of red, and a color at her roots that was lighter, and orange. The goal was to make her as close to her natural light brown hair as possible, while elimin8-ing nost of the red. I spent 61/2 hours treating her hair with a color remover(2x) that removes most of the artificial color without the use bleach. Then gently adding layers of light brown to minimize the red as much as possible while keeping it light. A gaggle of highlights, tease-y highlights, some sexy curtain bangs later, and we ended up with the most delicate, kissed by the sun, natural looking light brunette. Learning the techniques of sectioning for my Natural Beaded Row hair extension class. Homework before the class even begins next week. This brand of hair extension has impressed me to be my preferred style to learn and work with. It is the least painful, visible, and detectable. Performed my first smoothing treatment today. It allows you to go silky straight or or just frizz free. There is no before pic, but naturally she has frizzy, wavy, Japanese coarse hair. I did the frizz reducing mildest treatment on her, and this is the result after RINSING the freshly FLAT IRONED hair, FOLLOWED by a rough blow dry. Lots of body, and fullness with no frizz, and NO keratin FUMES.
