t wasn’t a correction… it was a reset.
Her color had faded the way it naturally does — a little warmer, a little softer, not wrong… just different than where we started.
And this is the part people don’t always realize —
color doesn’t stay exactly how you leave the salon. It lives on your hair, and it shifts.
So today wasn’t about “fixing.”
It was about bringing her back to the tone she loved most.
A little cooler.
A little more depth
Because sometimes the goal isn’t something new…

Will you ever be blonde enough?!
Do you think Kev will pull off the perfect blonde after this install or have I made a blonde monster?!
Base and highlight with a new install coming soon.
Check back to see the blonde transformation
Kev always says, “Let’s go blonder.”
Like… white-blonde. No dimension. No depth. Just full send.
I have to lovingly remind Kev — we’re not ruining your blend for your birthday. 😌
So yes, we brighten the highlights.
Yes, we turn up the blonde.
But we’re keeping those lowlights in there so it actually looks expensive… not fried.
Birthday hair should look extra.
Not desperate.
Come with me to the hair shop to get Kev’s birthday blonde!
Goodbye Emo!
A few minor adjustments to the crown and she's back to perfection.
Change can be good, and sometimes you need to tweak things along the way to get it just right.
Bold face frame with a melted contrast - it's a look! The dimension in her extensions is everything.
Perfect placement meant her blonde face frame flowed beautifully to the ends. It's all about the details.
Until next time, when she'll likely ask for blonde again 🙃
Persistence is key, at least for me!
We went for a bold look with dark on top, but I wasn’t loving it .
The plan was to add extensions and highlights to enhance the look, and it paid off. Maybe the dark was necessary 🤔 or maybe it was a detour. We tried something different.
Can’t wait for you to see the final look!

Sometimes you go for the big change and it just isn’t giving what you want.
Switching over to a brunette with a face frame from a highlighted blonde can be risky .. Blondes don’t like dark even when they say they do ..
Don’t worry her color ended beautiful and we added in 24inch extensions to complete the revised final look
Also she is one of my favorite people, she will always be happy.
Can’t I get a prayer below for all the blondes who went dark and regretted it

So many options, do you even know where to start ?
When you’re living inside the problem, it’s almost impossible to see your hair clearly — your density, your breakage, your limits, what your lifestyle can actually support.
That’s why extensions shouldn’t be chosen from desire alone.
They need to be chosen from understanding.
My role isn’t to give you more hair.
It’s to help you stop guessing — so whatever we do actually supports your hair instead of working against it.
Clarity first.
Everything else gets easier from there.
