Meet Aegis Balm! Our family-friendly woodland bug balm, inspired by the forests of New England and thoughtfully crafted for families who want to enjoy the outdoors with greater peace of mind.
This formula was slowly developed and carefully refined using traditional herbal ingredients and gentle aromatics that feel as good on the skin as they smell. At its heart is grass-fed tallow infused with catnip and locally sourced sweet fern—a woodland herb grown by a small producer right here in New Hampshire. Sweet fern also has a rich history of traditional use among Indigenous communities, including the Abenaki and Mi’kmaq.
We pair these infused botanicals with neem oil, cedarwood, geranium, and lemongrass to create a soft, herbaceous outdoor blend made for everything from backyard play to summer hikes.
Micro-batch crafted, intentionally sourced, and rooted in the belief that kids should be free to explore the outdoors—and parents deserve products they can feel good about using.
