The stylist stations were custom built by my husband Jake, and they couldn’t have turned out better, (imo). He used red oak for the wood, and we stained them with a black stain. Me and whoever I could get to volunteer their time on their days off to help us get things done. ⁣

I had my vision, and he was tasked with creating the sketch. We had a lot of back and forth debates about how things could be done, and ultimately, I got what I was looking for.⁣

The mirrors came from , and were very expensive, but I love them. The light on the mirror felt important to me because when you have to sit in front of a mirror for hours, you want your face lit up. The track light above does still create some funky shadows on clients faces, but that’s what happens when you choose spotlight track like I did. (𝘛𝘉𝘏 𝘐 𝘥𝘪𝘥𝘯’𝘵 𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘭𝘭𝘺 𝘬𝘯𝘰𝘸 𝘸𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘐 𝘸𝘢𝘴 𝘥𝘰𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘸𝘪𝘵𝘩 𝘭𝘪𝘨𝘩𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘨. 𝘛𝘩𝘪𝘴 𝘪𝘴 𝘢 𝘮𝘢𝘫𝘰𝘳 𝘱𝘢𝘳𝘵 𝘰𝘧 𝘢 𝘴𝘢𝘭𝘰𝘯 𝘣𝘶𝘪𝘭𝘥𝘰𝘶𝘵 𝘐’𝘥 𝘳𝘦𝘤𝘰𝘮𝘮𝘦𝘯𝘥 𝘩𝘦𝘢𝘷𝘺 𝘳𝘦𝘴𝘦𝘢𝘳𝘤𝘩 𝘰𝘯 𝘪𝘧 𝘐 𝘸𝘦𝘳𝘦 𝘵𝘰 𝘥𝘰 𝘪𝘵 𝘰𝘷𝘦𝘳.) ⁣

The mirror height needed to be tall, because the space is so large. The ceilings are high, and I wanted the stations to fill the space. The width of stations was exactly the right size to fit a dog bed I already had in another salon underneath the station for the dogs to lay. To me, that meant they were just as they should be. I have no complaints. ⁣

Thank you to everyone who helped with the stations. My husband of course, brother in law, sister, and whoever else got their hands on them before opening. You know who you are. ⁣
