We work to reduce pain and inflammation, improve function and range of motion, as well as speed healing and recovery. Lisa Bouchard LMT,LAc, established MassageCraft in 1991. What began as a one person, one room operation in Saco has blossomed into full-service clinics in Biddeford and Old Orchard Beach. Our services encompass both Eastern and Western massage techniques as well as acupuncture. Our staff is talented and highly skilled. You will always be in good hands at MassageCraft.

🐚 Rest is an important part of your treatment 🐚

After an acupuncture or massage session, your body continues to process and integrate the benefits long after you leave the clinic. That's why rest is so important. This allows your nervous system to stay in a relaxed state, supports healing, and helps your body fully absorb the therapeutic effects

Whenever possible, take time after your appointment to be outside, to hydrate, and to reconnect with the natural world. Try to avoid over-scheduling and give yourself permission to move a little more gently for the rest of the day.

Healing isn't just what happens on the treatment table. It's also what happens when you allow your body the time and space to recover.

June is PTSD Awareness Month and today is National PTSD Awareness Day.

Post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) can affect both the mind and body in anyone, regardless of age, race, gender, or profession. Trauma can cause muscle tension, chronic pain, headaches, difficulty sleeping, or a constant feeling of being "on edge".

While massage therapy and acupuncture are not cures for PTSD, they may provide complementary care alongside mental health support. Gentle, trauma-informed treatments provided in a safe, compassionate environment can promote relaxation, reduce physical tension, and improve overall well-being.

Healing looks different for everyone and every step forward matters. Let's continue to foster understanding, reduce stigma, and show kindness to others on their healing journeys.
