Market prep is underway! 💜

Lilac lotion bars are restocked, soaps are curing on the racks and ready to be labeled, and Maddie has appointed herself Head of Quality Control.

The cats have filed several formal complaints regarding this promotion.

We'll be bringing all these goodies to the at Absolem Cider this Sunday from 12–5 pm. ☀️🧼🐈

The studio has smelled like a very fancy citrus grove collided with a flower garden for the past two days 🌸🍊✨

I’ve been busy restocking a fan favorite — Morning Bloom — and creating a brand new summer soap: Freshly Bloomed ☀️

And honestly… soap loaves before cutting are just ridiculously pretty. The swirls, the creamy tops, the botanicals settling in while everything firms up… I always have to stop and admire them for a minute before the slicing begins.

Freshly Bloomed is packed with bright citrus, soft floral notes, and topped with calendula, rose petals, and blue cornflower. Very cheerful. Very sunshiney. Very much approved by the imaginary studio cats supervising quality control 🐈

Now comes the hardest part: waiting for cure time instead of aggressively sniffing them every 15 minutes.

Little by little, this studio space is starting to feel more and more mine 🫧

I found the cutest little cabinet to hold up the tiny dishwasher, and honestly it feels really good to finally spend some time upgrading the space instead of just constantly working in it.

It’s still a work in progress, but every little change makes the studio feel a little more cozy, functional, and me.

Spring Fest is rain or shine! Farm life! We will be moving most of the animals indoors and vendors will be under tents.
Please leave your pets at home. Due to the number of farm animals at this event (and others) we kindly request you not bring your own pets.

We’re out here at the Viles Arboretum for the Lilac Festival from 10–4 today and it’s absolutely gorgeous out 🌸☀️

Our brand new Lilac Lotion Bar and Lilac Sugar Scrub are making their debut this Saturday at the Viles Arboretum Lilac Festival from 10 AM – 4 PM!

Enjoy nature-inspired activities for all ages, educational opportunities, entertainment, and a beautiful plant + makers market — and we’ll be there with all your favorite products plus these fresh lilac-inspired additions. Think soft floral spring vibes, smooth skin, and a little bit of Maine garden magic 🌿✨

This week’s Rooted in Herbalism workshop at Root Wild is all about creating TWO custom sugar scrubs using natural ingredients, botanicals, scents, and colors of your choice. 🌿

And honestly? Sugar scrubs are kind of the unsung hero of summer skin. ☀️ They help exfoliate away dry skin from sunscreen, beach days, gardening, and all the general summer chaos — leaving your skin soft, smooth, and refreshed.

We’ll even have a special summer scrub recipe for everyone to try during the workshop. 🍋🫧

You’ll leave with:

🌿 a take-home recipe card
🍹 a handcrafted kombucha from Root Wild
