Miles & Murders

Giving “Park Predators” a trial since we’re about to start trail running again. I feel like finding bodies in the woods is something every runner prob has in the back of their head to be on the lookout for. Maybe it’s just me? Maybe spooking myself will give me some speed! ?? Nevertheless, great running weekend here in MT. Sunny skies and big checks headed my way! What a fun series we just completed! 💜🫶🏻

Daaang. Some juicy episodes on this run today! “What the Neighbors Saw” starts out with witnesses seeing a mom and her son cleaning the walls and floors and then taking a rolled up carpet and putting it in the back of the car along with a bunch of big, black garbage bags. I’ll let you guess the next part! 😳 I haven’t finished “Death After Midnight” but it’s starts out with a VERY dramatic 911 call. Was it too dramatic or legit?. I’ll find out next run! 💙🫆

Got 48 Hours on and it’s good! I like an episode that has resolution at the end, vs a whole season about one story. I guess I have podcast commitment issues.

Did 5.8 while listening to Culpable. This episode is about a 17 year old boy who was found asphyxiated in a cornfield in 1988. As a forensic nurse who regularly performs non-fatal strangulation exams, this one pulled at my heartstrings and left me wanting answers. I am only on episode 2 so I’m not sure what kind of closure is in store, if any. Left me grateful for this beautiful sunset and moonrise. 🙌🏻

5.6 mile run and listened to an episode about an escaped female convict and now I can’t find the next episode. 😂 I like this one, too, though and continued with The Real Silent Witnesses.
