❓ "Do I need to shave before my wax appointment?"

Actually, no! In fact, shaving right before your appointment can make waxing less effective.

For the best results, hair should be about the length of a grain of rice (roughly ¼ inch long). This gives the wax enough hair to grip so it can be removed properly from the root.

If you're unsure whether your hair is long enough, don't stress. I'd much rather answer your questions beforehand than have you worry about it. 🤍

One of the biggest misconceptions about waxing is that you need to "prepare perfectly" before your appointment. The truth is you don't. My job is to guide you through the process and help you feel comfortable every step of the way.
