😬 are your hormones making you feel like crap?

all of these are signs of hormonal imbalance. 😭

Here are 5 tips to help you balance your hormones naturally:

1️⃣ SUNLIGHT

Sunlight triggers our brain to release serotonin (the
happy hormone!) which regulates anxiety & mood.
But that’s not all!

The brighter your exposure to the sun during the day, the more melatonin you produce at night, improving your sleep, syncing your biological clock & lowering stress.

Sunlight = Happy Circadian Rhythms = Happy You.

2️⃣ EXERCISE

Not all workouts are created equal though! Stop doing crazy amounts of cardio & HITT.

Women in a state of chronic stress respond best to low level, restorative movements like walking & lifting heavy weights.

Workouts like these will balance hormones, balance blood sugar & increase muscle. The more muscle you have the more fat you burn.

Also, fat cells naturally produce harmful amounts of estrogen! YIKES!

3️⃣ FOOD

Did you know your hormones hate highly processed food? STOP!

Stop eating processed food. The standard American diet is wreaking havoc on your gut.

Focus on protein, whole foods like fruit, vegetables, fiber and fat. Simple swaps include trading a morning cereal bar fix for fresh fruit or berries. No need to over-complicate this.

4️⃣ SLEEP

The rise and fall of the stress hormone, cortisol, is crucial for helping you fall asleep by your target bedtime, staying asleep throughout the night, & waking up in the morning feeling alert.
