Now here’s a little story all about how…this Love Your Scalp sweatshirt blessed someone!!💚

I had the pleasure of attending FOUNDERCON in Chicago last week. The weather was crazy, but we had a blast.

The conference schedule was full of activities dedicated to Founders! One of the activities included visiting and meeting the Founder of Jeni's Splendid Ice Creams! She shared her success story and didn’t leave out any details regarding the challenges she faced to develop Jeni’s into the ice cream empire it is today!!

Fast forward to later that night, the Founders decided to go out and have some fun in Downtown Chicago!

THIS IS WHERE GOD DOES HIS THING!!!!

We initially tried to go to a bar called Celeste, but the bouncer was trying to tax us $40 to get in after someone already informed us it was FREE for ladies and $20 for guys.😅

Me being COURTNEY, I slid to another bar and told the bouncer I had a party of 28 people ready to have a great time! He told me to grab them and bring them to his spot, Boss Bar. Little did I know, the other bouncer with an antiquated mindset would stop us because people had on “jeans.” He said y’all can’t come in here but y’all can go to Mother Hubbard’s. SIR, this is a bar!!!! (and we saw hella people with jeans on when we got inside) I “changed his perspective” & we got in….just to find out the music wasn’t our type of vibe.😅

We left Boss Bar and went to Mother Hubbard’s. I got hungry and ordered food. As I’m waiting for my food, this man comes over and says, “How can I buy your shirt?”

I’m like, 🥹🥹🥰🤓🥹! This is my business shirt so it’s the only one like this.

Him: I’d like to buy it for my daughter. She’s 12 years old and has lots of beautiful hair, but she hates it because they tease her about it at school!

At that moment, my heart brokkkeee!! I didn’t even know this man!!!! I took my sweatshirt off, gave it to him, and couldn’t hold back from giving him a hug!!! He couldn’t stopped thanking me and kept saying “you don’t know how much this will mean to her.” Had me about to cry!🥹

I’m tearing up as I type this, because you never know when and how you can inspire and bless someone. I appreciate her dad for having the courage to ask about my sweatshirt and also finding ways to help her love and appreciate her scalp, her hair, and her crown!!💚

Shout out to the Dads who are doing their part!💚
