The Men's Chair

Ten years ago, I stood in front of this window on opening day, filled with hope, nerves, and a deep belief in what I was building. I was young, determined, and full of vision. That little barbershop grew into something I will always be proud of — not just a business, but a community.
After a decade of incredible memories, growth, and relationships, it’s time to say goodbye to The Men’s Chair. This decision didn’t come easy — I poured my heart into this business. But in this season, my heart belongs at home.
With my beautiful newborn boy in my arms and two amazing step sons by my side, I’m stepping into a new role: full-time mom. This is where I’m needed most. This is holy, hard, soul-shaping work — and I want to be fully present for it.
I had hoped to sell the shop, but the right opportunity didn’t come. And rather than force something that wasn’t meant to be, I’ve decided to let go — and lean into a new season.
Thank you to every person who sat in my chair, supported my vision, mentored me, cheered me on, and believed in what The Men’s Chair stood for. You helped make the last 10 years some of the richest of my life.
This goodbye isn’t about loss. It’s about love.
